Snout & Stitch is a retro dogwear brand inspired by the dogs we love and the people who love them back. We believe dog clothes should be fun, well-made, and full of personality—just like your pup. Our sizes range from teacup Yorkies that fit in a tote bag to horse-sized Newfoundlands that take up the whole couch.
How it began
It all began with a suspicious side-eye from our dog. One chilly morning, we slipped him into a bargain-bin hoodie that looked like it had survived the '80s—and not in a good way. He refused to make eye contact the entire walk. We got the message.
That was our wake-up call: dogs have standards too.
Snout & Stitch was born out of the need for dog apparel that actually has personality—vintage charm, solid stitching, and just the right amount of sass.
We’re here for the pups who strut like they mean it, and the humans who get that style doesn’t stop at two legs.
Hi, I’m Mimi — and this is Disco.
I started Snout & Stitch in 2021 after realizing I could never find clothes for my dog that actually matched our vibe. Everything out there felt generic, cheaply made, or just plain ugly. And Disco? He wasn’t having it.
I’ve always had a soft spot for retro style—vintage textures, playful colors, that cozy-but-cool energy. So I decided to make something myself. I had no background in fashion, no real plan—just a whole lot of Pinterest boards and one very patient dog.
The beginning was rough. I messed up sizing, fabric choices, and pretty much everything else. One of the first sweaters I made for Disco made him look like an angry turnip. But with every fail, I got a little better—and Disco forgave me (eventually).
Now, Snout & Stitch is for dog lovers who want something more. More personality, more quality, more fun.
It’s retro dogwear made with love, a little chaos, and a lot of trial and error.
